Ein Crashbecken, das gefällt

Ridesound: wenig ping, washy
Glocke: durchsetzungsfähig für ein 18er, eher mittig. recht große Kuppe.
Crashsound: Mittlerer Attack, mittellanges Sustain, voller voluminöser sound. Mittellaut, sehr angenehm. Gut für die Ohren. Klingt recht ausgewogen insgesamt.
Optik: Sehr hübsch.
Stilistik: keine Heavy Hitter Abteilung. Eher Elektro, Hiphop, Jazz, Ambient, aber auch Rock und Fusion.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Becken.

Jazz crash

O prato Istanbul Mehmet 18" Mehmet Legend Dark Crash eu uso para tocar jazz. Para quem procura um prato que tem um preço bastante baixo este e o ideal. Eu procurei durante uma semana ( ouvir 3-4 horas por dia diferentes pratos de crash) e cheguei a conclusão que Istanbul Mehmet 18 ou Masterwork Jazz Master Series, 18 soam bastante bem para o preço deles. O único problema dos dois pratos e os ofertonas, mas eu melhorei o som do prato colando fitas na parte inferior do prato.

Great Cymbal

I was hooked on Istanbul Mehmet when I was offered the 15" Legend Dark hi hats. I used to have Zildjian K Custom dark 13" hats. I loved the mehmet hi hats so much I bought this crash. It has a real bite to it with long sustain and great tone.

Works Great With The 19" Ride

For some time now, my favorite ride has been the Mehmet Legend Dark 19", with or without the sizzles. So I thought I should try this crash to see if it would be a good companion.

And after picking one that worked with my ride, the answer is YES!

It's very nice to finally have a crash that complements my beloved ride perfectly. The overall tone and the crash sound is a good match, with a good spread in pitch. This crash can also be played as a secondary ride, and the bell is a great complement to the bell on the 19" ride (provided you find a pair that work together, these cymbals do vary a lot!).

I have also found the Zultan Caz 16" or 17" works very well with this one as a second brighter crash, broadening the tonal palette. None of my other cymbals from Mehmet or Agop blend as well with it. If you're looking for a second crash to pair with this one you won't find anything much better suited than the Caz, and it's cheap too!
