Plugin Alliance Mäag Audio EQ4-MS

I'm still a beginner when it comes to mixing, and my biggest struggle has always been making my tracks sound clear and wide. My mixes usually ended up sounding a bit dark and muddy. I heard a lot of good things about the Mäag EQ4, so I decided to try this MS version.

Since I'm not a pro, EQs with too many graphical curves and options can be overwhelming. The fixed frequency bands on this plugin actually made it much easier for me to use. I didn't have to overthink or guess the exact frequencies; I just turned the knobs and trusted my ears.

The "Air Band" is exactly what people say it is. I turned it up slightly on my master bus, and suddenly the whole track opened up. It gave my song a bright, polished feel without making the high-end sound harsh or piercing.

Also, using the Mid/Side feature for the first time was a great experience. By just boosting the highs slightly on the 'Side' channel, my mix instantly sounded wider. It feels like a very forgiving and effective tool for beginners who want a better-sounding mix without getting lost in complex settings.
