Top synth
Exceptionnel synth, I've had a lot of vintage synths (Korg 770, Roland Juno 106, SH-1, SH-101, Jx3p, Yamaha CS range, Polyvoks.. ) and a few modern ones
The Fourm is the best of worlds, very simple yet feature packed with wat counts (midi, patch memory, sequencer, little screen, etc..
The keybed is nice, be sure to verify the OS because an update fixed an early aftertouch bad calibration.
It's very well built, VERY heavy for the size.
The only con I find is the lack of onboard effects.. but I prefer they put effort on the core sound, build, overall quality rather than adding a cheap effect section.. it's closer to a vintage like that, no? Just kidding
It's a super instrument in the noble sense. The sound is glorious, is can do HUGE basses, to very delicate keys/ Prophet textures..go for it, add a reverb/delay of your choice, and be ready for endless pleasure.
