Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Sp. Bridge BK

I bought this humbucker to go into my Gibson SG Tribute which has a mahagony body and maple neck. I had the Suhr Doug Aldrich in it but unfortunately the sound was not that good due to different mid frequencies which didn’t make it sound good live. I have the Suhr also in my Cort G300 raw and it sounds really good in it.

After a bit of researching I decided to go with the SNS humbucker which totally rescued my SG. The description from Seymour Duncan is how it sounds and performs.
Pros: it handles gain very well to the point that someone could easily use it for heavy music. I use the Kemper Stage with Profiles from Bogren Digital the 2nd pack from Tue Madsen the Mr. Hector profiles. My rhythm patch has about 5.5 gain and when I ( morph) more gain the humbucker keeps up and delivers. That was really a concern buying this pickup because I was worried it wouldn’t handle the distortion and only 9.52 kohm. Don’t worry…. It can no problem.
I am so impressed with this pickup and honestly think it is way underrated and yeah I would absolutely recommend it🤘🏻
I like it even better than the Seymour Duncan JB which I have in 2 guitars but the SNS excels over it in my honest opinion.

I didn’t expect this pickup to sound this good when using more gain on my profiles it is just excellent👍🏻

Für meine Gibson SG habe ich verschiedene Pickupkombinationen von Seymour Duncan ausprobiert, da mir der original Stegpikup immer zu dünn im Verhältnis zum Halspickup klang. Mit dem Saturday Night habe ich den Richtigen gefunden. ein Pickup der singt! Er ist hervorragend für Rock-- Pop Musik geeignet, da er nicht so komprimiert wie ein JB oder Custom. In Kombination mit dem Sh 2 - Jazz am Hals eine wahre Pracht, da auch die Zwischenposition schön transparent klingt.
