Viel für Wenig

Nach dem Motto, jeder Bassist sollte eine P-Bass haben, war ich schon länger am vergleichen was der Markt zu bieten hat. Für mich ist das Gewicht ein entscheidender Schwerpunkt gewesen(pun intended), somit ist der Sonic P immer wieder auf Platz 1 gerutscht. Vor dem Kauf habe ich hier und da mal einen Sonic P-Bass in Läden angetestet und war immer positiv überrascht. Da viele Andere, auch bei anderen Modellen der Sonic Baureihe die selbe Erfahrung gemacht haben und nun midnight blue endlich erhältlich war, habe ich bestellt.
Wie vorher im Laden schon aufgefallen, ist der Hals sehr gut verarbeitet, keine Bünde stehen raus, mattes Finish, Qualität die mich an meine Godin Freeway erinnert! Am Lack ist auch nichts zu bemängeln. Mein Exemplar wiegt angenehme 3,8 kg.
Er klingt wie ein P-Bass soll, aber wie bei den Meisten wird die Originalelektronik ja eh nicht allzu lange drin bleiben. : D
Klare Empfehlung für ähm, alle! Probiert’s selbst und vergesst das Squier auf der Kopfplatte steht ; )

Děkuji za rychlé dodání. Basová kytara plně odpovídá popisu na webu. Montáž a úprava na výšku! Zvuk je nad očekávání. Thomann je nejlepší internetový obchod za cenu a kvalitu! Doporučuji tento produkt!!!

still not enough

mildly better than a few budget squiers ive bought recently - a sonic telecaster, a jaguar bass and an affinity strat. but as usual, there are a number of awful, glaring QC issues.

first off the most annoying - the instrument hasnt even been cleaned since leaving the factory. dust in between the PG and the bridge. dust under the PG. sawdust in every screw hole.

second, and this has been on every one of the squiers ive bought as well - they seem to have stopped polishing or finishing the paint under the PG. its not visible, makes no difference to the guitar, but i mean, c'mon. is it really that much bother to polish the rest of it?

third the setup. universally again across all the squiers, awful, and alarmingly all the same. its like factory policy to bend the truss rod, set the height as high as possible and send it out? these are meant for beginners. the setup is crucial. squier has to try harder here.

the pickups were surprisingly good, so it sounds the part at least - and on this bass the fretwork was also decent. the fretboard was as dry as gandhi's sandal. the knobs and tuners are awful. the paintwork was great. if thomann offered a 1/2 star i would probably give it a 2.5

but at this price point there are so many other, much better options to look at other than squier. presumably why fender have started the whole lawsuit nonsense.... as has been said many times. they really should just build better guitars
